Day 2
The Ankylosaurus is apart of a genus of armoured dinosaurs. It lived in the Cretaceous period approximately 70 - 65 million years ago.
This armoured reptile was 6 to 8 metre long and weight between 4.8 - 8 tonnes. This dino had 2 horn on the top of its head and a robust body. As u can see the ankylosaurus has a beak on the front of its head and hard boney plates on its back which acts as protection from predators and a big strong boney club on the end of its tale to attack predators if they tride to take a bite out of the ankylosaurus if the predator say the club but was still hungry enough to attack the ankylosaurus it would swing its tale around and hopefully absolutely destroy the predator most likely T-rex's ankles .The ankylosaur at lots of plants that grew on the floor of the forest jungle or area it lived in the ankylosaur probably had a organ in its body that fermented plants to help the ankylosaur digest all the the plant matter it ate.

Hi Pacis
ReplyDeleteI always like reading about dinosaurs. I find the history of animals very interesting. Its amazing to think that Anklyosaurus could take out a T Rex. Is that your favourite dinosaur?
