For writing this week I was given a task. the task was to read a book and present 3 things I found out 2 things that were interesting and 1 question. here is the link to my task the link. 3 things I found out where there is a place called bulmer caverns in new zealand that there is an acid in rainwater that dissolves limestone and that bulmer caverns has a chance to be one of the biggest cave systems in the world. 2 things that were interesting was that scientist use dye to see if bulmer caverns was connected to blue creek the second is that there is an acid in rainwater that dissolves limestone
and my question is if water that goes threw limestone makes stalactites than can there be a chance of a stalactite growing in a path making it blocked of to people wanting to walk by and if the rule of the cave is to only leave footprints then they can't cut it down when it's still small.
have u ever went inside of a cavern?
